How to Change Partition Size in Windows 7 with partition magic windows7

Nowadays, Hot fixes, Patches, Service Packs, installed programs including 'Microsoft office' and many more – all of these consume a lot of space on our system partition and this may cause "low disk space" problem, computer run slowly and so on. On the other hand some computer manufacturers always set up much smaller system partition but a larger data partition. So we have to change partition size on Windows 7 by ourselves.

Step1. Launch Partition Assistant, right-click F: drive on the main interface, select "Resize".


Step2. In the pop-up window, drag left handle, rightwards to change F: partition size. Then click "Ok".


After step2 you may find there's an unallocated space behind system partition (C :).


Step3. Select C: drive on the main interface, drag right handle on the panel, rightwards to change system partition size.



Step4. Finally, click "Apply" on the tool bar to commit the operation.


Note: in order to protect the system partition, the operation will be completed in boot mode, therefore, rebooting is necessary. The software would require you rebooting, just click "OK".

When the operation complete you may find change partition size in Windows 7 is just as easy as you see.
